Derek Bell

Derek Bell was brought up in Tanzania and during the last 35 years he has founded, managed and acted as a consultant to a number of businesses in the UK and overseas –ranging from financial services, the music and film industries and was an early promoter of web based e-Commerce solutions. He is a lead investor in billing, customer care, management information and cloud hosting suppliers specialising in the Telecommunications and SaaS sectors and has travelled the world extensively, including 35 countries in Africa. Derek has a particular interest in technology and eco-friendly start-ups; is a Volunteer with Young Enterprise, a registered charity which provides business experience and funding to budding entrepreneurs and is an Advisor to the Board of the Simple Drinking Water Foundation, a newly registered charity that brings clean drinking water to the developing nations in the world.
